For nearly four generations, our family has been immersed in the events industry. From owning and operating a wedding venue to planning and producing celebrations across continents, hospitality has always been more than a profession. It is part of our foundation.
Angela began planning alongside her family, growing the business with her sister, later mentoring her nieces, and now watching the next generation begin to understand what it means to serve and lead with intention.
For over two decades, we have planned, designed, and produced luxury weddings and events around the world. That global perspective, combined with generational roots, shapes how we approach every celebration.
We do not separate planning from design or production. We integrate them from the beginning. Logistics are structured. Communication is clear. Design is intentional. The system works so the experience feels seamless.

Angela Proffitt | Founder & CEO
Angela Proffitt is the founder of GSD Creative and a leader in the luxury wedding and hospitality industry. With over two decades of global experience, she has planned, designed, and produced celebrations across more than thirty countries and diverse cultures.
Raised in a family rooted in hospitality, Angela understands events from the inside out. Her background in psychology allows her to see patterns, anticipate complexity, and guide both clients and teams with clarity. She does not simply create beautiful events. She builds systems that protect the experience behind them.
Beyond client work, Angela actively educates and leads within the hospitality industry. She is known for introducing new frameworks, operational clarity, and forward-thinking solutions leading with wellness that elevate how professionals plan, produce, and sustain their businesses.
At GSD Creative, Angela built the structure. The team delivers it. Together, they operate with precision, leadership, and a deep respect for what it means to steward someone’s most important moments.
